Our most spacious room inhabits a generous share of our third floor, with soaring ceilings, tiled bathroom, and cheerful colors. Relax and enjoy sunsets over Lanesboro’s western bluffs.  The dormer off the main room is a cozy “writer’s garret”, with a lovely round-topped window, built-in bookcase, and antique fainting couch.  Queen bed, antique armoire, parson’s table, ceiling fan, and thick woolen rugs scattered atop bamboo flooring.  Bedside tables with reading lamps on either side of the bed.  Large bathroom with shower, vanity, antique ceiling fixture, and a view of the northern bluffs of the Root River valley.

A two-night minimum stay is generally required on weekends, mid-April through October, but we sometimes have flexibility to make other arrangements, so feel free to call us.

Since it took several years for us to complete the Tree Top Suite, many guests toured it in its various stages of completion. A few preview comments from our guests: “Wow!” “This is a very nice room.” “I like the angles of the ceiling”. And our personal favorite, “We’re going to stay here next time.”
